Every part of me feels broken
Oct. 1st, 2013 10:50 pmI woke up out of nightmare ridden sleep with a migraine so bad I threw up. I went to work and warned them that they might need their reflexes today if I got sick again.
Worse I hurt my back. It's been bothering me for a while but today it feels like there's a heart beat in my spine and the muscles are so tight sitting hurts, lying down hurts, standing hurts, life blows. I will take a muscle relaxer tonight.
In talking to a coworker I learned her fibromyalgia has suddenly kicked on big time. So that's her, me and another friend in the area. WTF is going on here that this is happening?? It almost makes me think there's a trigger in the air.
I get home, just sit down to eat when the assholes from my loans call. So much for the government shut down. Guess it doesn't apply to federal student loans. They had me so upset I cried all through dinner what little I could eat. Naturally the stress shot my sugar over 300.
I did calm down with the help of grading and fire mountain gem's catalog. Then NCIS made me cry It was as good as an ending as a Tony/Ziva could have. It was sad but good. She didn't get killed like every other woman on this show but Abby. I DID have issues with Gibbs taking on that huge guy half his age but whatever. I hope we can move this stagnating storyline along
I still haven't seen agents of shield. Sigh.
I won another book from Goodreads. Good. This happened about 2 years ago. Won 2 books quickly never won again until this month and I won twice.
I am proud of Kroger's. They asked up to click to go pink via our Kroger's cards and we did. They are donating 3 million to breast cancer research so I feel better about shopping with them.
Speaking of breast cancer check out this
unique beads support breast cancer research It's from Fire Mt Gems. Some are very pricey but others are affordable.

Date: 2013-10-02 03:41 am (UTC)We saw the first Agents of SHIELD but I once again forgot to record it, so I have to wait for a rebroadcast (as they did last week). I have to remember to put it on my Season Passes. (Having it opposite NCIS is killer.)
Not sure how I feel about Ziva's ending, though. But I totally believed Gibbs -- he's always been portrayed as a super kick-ass Marine; plus, they did a bang-up job of his makeup (no pun intended). He's the first guy I've seen who actually looks like someone was beating on his head (they even gave him blood in his eyes).

Date: 2013-10-02 04:42 am (UTC)Seriously especially since I have an old VCR still and the rebroadcast was up against TBBT. Sigh. I need to sit and watch it on hulu but between back pain and work needing to be done I didn't want to sit at the computer and do it.
I would have liked something else for Ziva but I'm content enough that she's alive and moving on. I don't really see her giving up the badge but whatever.
There is that about Gibbs but still, the hits they were giving him just don't work when you consider age and physiology but you are right, his make up was superb. I was happily stunned by the blood in the eye

Date: 2013-10-03 01:34 am (UTC)Yeah, after all her hard work GETTING that badge, it doesn't seem quite right, but it was written okay.
You're too much of a doctor. I believed it. :) (Plus, he looked like he was in PAIN, especially that final scene with the cold beer against his face.)

Date: 2013-10-03 02:07 am (UTC)yeah I agree about Ziva
and you're not wrong about me not being able to shut down that part of my brain in a fight scene but Harmon did an excellent job of looking injured afterwards

Date: 2013-10-02 11:14 am (UTC)Geeze for the loans. I think you need to write your congressmen, too. Tell him what you experienced yesterday. And every time you talk to those people.
I watched NCIS last night rather than Agents of Shield. It'll be a couple of weeks before it's on Hulu, IIRC. I think, on average, it's two weeks after the television showing.

Date: 2013-10-02 09:32 pm (UTC)I do not understand the loan peoples' attitude. It seems like they would want you to pay on your loan. Instead, from what I can tell, they seem to adopt an adversarial, even punitive stance with their "clients." That's so counterproductive. You're not holding out on them or being difficult to spite them, and if they had a better, more helpful and flexible mindset, they would see that. But they're so rigid, and apparently there's nobody there who can clear up problems when they occur. Or run interference for you--wouldn't that be nice if they'd instate navigators, like they have for the new health care thing, to guide you through snafus. But no, we must be monolithic and hide-bound. A pox on the lot of them.

Date: 2013-10-03 01:26 am (UTC)They're idiots and staffed by min. wagers if I had to guess who DO NOT know a thing and if you point out you get a different story from them and have their names and dates, they say nothing. In fact you CAN NOT move them off their script
