I finally got my Android tablet to function as an ereader. INSTANT headache. I might never be able to read ebooks without pain. Tonight I looked around my apartment, saw the mess and for the first time in my life wanted every book gone. It was almost a frightening feeling.

Speaking of frightening feelings, my novel comes out in 2 weeks. OMG, someone hold me. While I can't give it away to everyone, I might be able to make a few available for trade for a review on Amazon and Goodreads. I've tried this before with The Darkest Midnight in December and it has zero reviews on Amazon. Reviews are one of the bigger ways to attract new readers. It will help counterbalance the trolls who'll stop by and say things like 'ew, Rhys sleeps with girls too,' or 'Ew, elves.' So if you feel like you want to read and review let me know. I'm also very nervous (and confused) about approaching the big-time reviewers.

If nothing else, Aaron and Rhys began to whisper of a sequel but I have to edit Soldiers of the Sun first and Project Fierce, not to mention somehow find time to finish my big bang.

It dusted snow out there but I'm taking it personally. It only snowed when I drove to Jackson, was sunny the whole time I was there then snowed on the way back...

Blame evil_little_dog for this. The only thing good about this stupid song is the crack that goes with it.

But don't blame her too much. She was nice and she edited ALL the blog tour posts I wrote up so I would be prepared for my blog tours in a few days!!

Try a Kindle Paperwhite which is lit in a different way from a computer screen. I can't read much online, but I can read the Kindle all night. Go down to Best Buy or somewhere and try it out. It's only $119 if you don't mind seeing an ad for a book when you turn it on.

I have tried it (and the tablet is also new. I'd hate to waste it). My cousin had it. Same result. Instant headache. Thanks though.

I don't think I could read comfortably on digital either. And congrats for all the good book stuff going on! So happy for you (those are good problems to have!)

I'm going to force myself to read at least some. (frankly the paperbacks from my publisher are often too lurid with the cover and where am I going to put them if I don't want to keep them (other than to sell them used on Amazon under a name they don't know because OMG some of them act like that's high treason) I'd like to save buying physical copies for the few I really like and move to ebooks for the rest.

I just bought Darkest Midnight Kindle edition. I'll review it as soon as I finish it. (Not that I'm a big name reviewer by ANY means, but...)
