LJ Interests meme results

1. angel:
   Oddly enough at first I didn't much like the show. If it wasn't for reruns I wouldn't have gotten into it. I loved S1 &2 and loathed S3 for any number of reasons. Came back for S4 for reasons we all know and S5...wow, bored me silly. But I'm still interested in the show as a whole. The characters are to say the least compelling
2. celtic culture:
   I have been for much much longer than I care think about, fascinated by all things Irish, the music, the history, the culture, the art work, you name it and I'm interested
3. connor & angel:
   This is the primary reason for interest #1. The complicated relationship between these two have given me so much story and essay fodder I doubt I could quantify it
4. cops:
   Well, i meant the show here...and while I normally disdain reality tv, this is an exception. I can't get enough of stupid criminals getting taken down, apparently. I'm a badge bunny in real life. I've dated a variety of cops. I like reading crime fiction and I liked writing it too
5. elfquest:
   One of my earliest fandoms. I wrote in this for 20 + years. I do very little now and I don't like any of the current story lines (hell pretty much anything past the 80's I haven't liked) but I've met some very cool people like evil_little_dog and rahirah through this and it's given me friendships i've treasured for years
6. fullmetal alchemist:
   This is my newest fandom crack. I've always been an anime/manga junky and I adore this one (most of the animated icons you've been seeing lately are from here) There are those complicated characters I love and am fascinated by (and yes angry little boys with daddy issues)
7. hiking:
   You don't look at me and think 'hiker' but I used to be and I still do it as much as I can. there is little I love better than a hike through the woods. (Beaches and deserts are pretty okay too)
8. law and order:
   I adore all versions of this TV show but I've come to like SUV and CI a little better than the original mostly because they have less of the lawyer stuff. I'm not a fan of lawyer fiction.
9. mysteries:
   My first one true love in the reading genres. I've been reading them since I started on Nancy Drew in the first grade. Within three years I was on Agatha Cristie's and Nagio Marsh's. Most of my reading lists are dominated by mysteries and I enjoy writing them.
10. romany culture:
    While always interested in Rom culture and 'magic' it's peaked recently when we learned that we are in fact half Rom (something that was to be ashamed of in my grandparents time and was hidden)

New Story

Been running this one in the color_i_fic challenge and here it is all together. Okay it's a link to back chapters and you'll have to go backwards to get them all. Why is that? No, I'm not setting out to be annoying but right now there's no NC-17 archive that I know of that I can post it in and you get direct access and my site's archive isn't done yet. I apologize for that. but at any rather here you go.
