holy heck it's windy out there (not to mention a tad chilly). I thought the roof took flight last night.

Got a couple of my stories up. One done, one to be done oh...this time next year. I think I will actually get up a whole (unbeta'ed) chapter of Hyperion's Son and a couple of other things. But not today.

Is going to go get ready for the party. I'm going to the VIP invite party at the casino (Lucky Uncle got the invites, not me, I'm far too stingy of a player for that). Wish me luck.

Had another dream last night involving the number 2400, instead of winning it like last time I was being charged that by my bank because I wanted to withdraw something. Weird.

Came home triumphant. The vip party was fun. Free booze, free food. Had prime rib, had shrimp as long as my palm and two fingers thick, oysters on a half shell, angels on horseback, spanakopita, fried mozzarella and more desserts than I can list (was it wrong to put the cheesecake lollipops in my purse and bring them home?)

Several free amaretto sours and SO. MUCH. SEAFOOD. (and desserts) later I felt I had mastered gluttony and went on to master greed. Yeah, I made greed my bitch. I hit the penny progressive on the golden tiger, eternal dragon and won several hundred dollars. I hit and won on just about everything including ‘gambling with Naruto’ the Shinobi machine. WHEE.

Went in and stuffed myself with as much free seafood as I could (it went on for five hours), grabbed a cappuccino and mom and I headed home winners!!


ETA to say thanks to evil_little_dog for the presents and to ishte for the card. Sadly given the state of the ginormous cold front I fear I can not hog the cold on my side of OH for you.
