special in all sorts of ways
Mar. 11th, 2009 08:25 amI don't like narcotics. Generally they make me vomit and don't do much for pain and they don't actually treat any causes of the pain in the first place.
Usually I can handle codeine. Okay yes there is a lot more of it in a T-3 than say my cough medicine. I expected to be nauseous (and boy am I ever) but usually it takes more than two days before the CNS stuff to start happening.
Took a pill last night a little before bed since sleeping is the most ouchie thing I do with the pinched nerve in my neck...laid down, read a little manga, shut off the lights and quickly became convinced there were things in the dark that were sitting on my chest and stealing my air and NOT in the good Incubus way either.
Gah, the last time codeine made me hallucinate was when I was on it for weeks when I had pneumonia...
was up all night....
neck hurts....
stomach roiling...
and now I have to go help people dissect eyes. Well at least i feel vicious.
