A/N: Wrote this one for springkink. This one was started before I saw the new movie which naturally changed some of where I was going with this. The fun thing was, I remember this one from the November challenge so it was prophetic. This one rather blends the two takes on Uhura especially. Thanks to salomesensei who beat this story up in a good way in very short amount of time. Thanks for the beta.

SO I went to get Kyo from the kennel. He is as soft as a feather and smells like the hazelnut soycandles she burns. He looks as lovely as an orange cat can.

And he's the devil incarnate. Now I expected him to be ripping around the house since he'd been confined so long. And he is. But he's also ripping at the window screens which IS going to get him killed. I had to shut the windows. It's pissing down rain. He is not going out there.

Okay here's the question, why does FireFox NOT recognize that I have adobe flash among other things on my computer. It did this at my parents too. We had to redownload it just to make Mozilla happy even though it was on the computer and happily working with other browsers. I can't download it here without dragging the computer to work. Stabs. Even more reasons to be unhappy with mozilla.

Hopefully Kyo will settle tomorrow. Any hopes i had of being in the kennel for two weeks killing his desire to be outside, died. He was absolutely awful. He started clawing up all the window screens. I had to shut them and turn on the a/c even though it was cool out just because he was ruining them. He also clawed a hole into my toe which irritates me. I'm diabetic AND a diabetic wound care specialist. I know how something little like this ends up an amputation down the road. Gah. watch me toss every wound care thing i can at it.
