Writing challenge

Because I'm almost finished with my last two (yes I'm done with springkink except for one)

SO have a challenge the rest of my flist took last month when i was busy with other challenges

Alphabet drabbles: First you pick a letter and a corresponding word or expression. Then you pick a fandom I can write and a character or pairing. An example: "L is for Logic - Star Trek, Spock/Uhura"

Since there are relatively new people on the list I write Buffy and Angel verses, X-Files, Star Trek (TOS, TNG maybe even the others), Fullmetal Alchemist (I will do slash of Roy/Maes or Roy/Maes/Gracia/Riza in any combo), Saiyuki (it's a free for all here with pairings), Fruits Basket, and I could try branching into Avatar (only I'm just mid way thru S2 and let's keep it relatively nonsexual here, they are just kids), others will be entertained.

Roy - I know you don't like Frontline. I would be more convinced it burned your skin if you didn't start screaming before I even put it on. Making me chase you through the house to finish it means I'll just be sure to get every drop out. Kyo, thank you for lying there like you were dead when I did yours

Roy - tripping me in the gravel parking lot isn't the way to get even

Kyo - tripping me in the living room will not get you outside any faster

but the 'something wrong' is this:

Roy is acting more and more like he's afraid I'll hit him.I'm not sure why. I don't do that. As far as I can tell Van (the neighbor who watches him) doesn't do it). I'm wondering if it's the medicine for his ears that I was given for him. It could be that his ears hurt and that's why he ducks away when you reach for him.

Kyo's problem is he has nightmares. LIke this morning he had a flailing screaming nightmare where he cries and cries in his sleep, all of his limbs whipping around. Even at the best of times he moans and fusses in his sleep. I did find out the whole truth from my landlord, Kyo was one of NINETEEN cats crammed into that apartment and left to shit and piss whereever they wanted.

Kyo is getting belligerent about his needs too. Though ignoring his every demand does work (such as NOT playing the game where we run in and out of the house 100 times in 10 minutes)

Okay guys one last beta request. The Dresden/Buffy crossover is taken care of (thanks lyra) and no one cared about evil_little_dog's sanity so she did the other two but since this one is for her....

Oh and can someone tell Kyo I am NOT a springboard to leap upon in order to reach the windowsill. Thank god, he's a small cat.

D-Day

I got so busy I nearly forgot to say something here. My Grandfather and his brothers (of which just Uncle Al is still around) were in WWII. They weren't at D-Day but I had many patients at the VA who were. I heard first hand from them about what it was like.

So I'm very glad and honored that there are men and women willing to fight for what they believe. I thank them.
