I feel awful

I didn't sleep last night. I mean at all. I was exhausted so i went to sleep early actually and just laid there, coughing sporadically but the real issue was my mind racing and refusing to shut off. I haven't had a night like since I left WI. I gave up at 330 and read a little. Didn't help. Around 6 I saw the sun coming up and that put me out for about an hour or two. And I have so much to do today. Yuck.

And the whole PMS thing didn't help. Took a look in the mirror around 1 AM and thought, god i'm so old and alone (and okay i KNOW it's just the hormones, I don't look old, in spite of an ugly birthday coming in three days, the alone part only sucks occasionally.)

So if I'm overly bitchy today, just ignore me.

or make my day and hire me a maid. come on it's almost my birthday. And I need one that doesnt frighten easily or mind I'm apparently an old pervert. (seriously, if anyone came in the computer room...how to tell COM's been writing porn, sex books, sex cards, sex you name it littering the floor)

Writerly Ways

It's been a good week for writing and a a bad week for housework... I wrote over 4500 words of original fic and at least that if not more in fan fic. I survived the rewrites of my short story and had two of them take off so yay.

A bigger yay from all the wonderful input from my original fiction filter. That made me happier than you will ever know. I need to get back to that story but first i need to finish the one story I'm SO close on.

My usual beta and sounding board evil_little_dog had a catastrophic computer issue which had only a minor saving grace of a) her having many of her stories on her flash as a back up and b) us being smart enough to have our shared novels on BOTH our computers plus i have several version on disc so I can at least give her back those (might even have my edits of MT's last chapter still if she needs them)

That said, without word I didn't want to hand over 30 pages of my new story in a series of emails and ...well, I blame the fever I told mom about this lack of beta. She's like send it to me...send Mom a 30 page (estimating here) homosexual BDSM story. You know...I think I babbled something about having a few other friends to try first. I'm NOT embarrassed about anything I write but the raised eyebrow i got when I mentioned the story I just sold was erotica is probably a good hint to just not really go there. Mom can see the R rated and less stuff or at least not start her off on a total kinkfest. Chicken Little, that's me.

Well I better get to ending that scene so i can get on with nearly killing one of the boys. Took a fever reducer and maybe i'll go watch some Ouran High School Host club (though I'm not liking the anime anywhere near as much as the manga)

If you do not want me to rub your belly, don't lie on your back with your belly exposed all four paws to the sky. Also, I KNOW it hurts but your chin isn't healing and it has me worried and I was fairly sure the antibiotic ointment for your eye should be mild enough to go on your chin. I'm hoping i don't have to rush you to the vet because that wound looks ugly and I wish i knew it wasn't healing because Kyo won't leave you be. It almost looks like a series of bug bites and/or poison ivy.

I'm not sure when would be a good time for you to PLAY with yourself but sitting on ME while I'm watching tv ain't it. GO be a boy where I can't see you and leave Roy alone. He doesn't want to play. He's got a boo-boo.

Finished Ouran S1 pt 2 and it was....yeah i'm so glad i read the manga first because this was just painfully dumb. Hoping this whole plot line doesn't show up anywhere in the manga.

got most of the computer room cleaned. Turns out there was a futon under that mountain of crap. WHo knew?
