Writing wise I wish I had seen the prompt for this week comming's fma_fic_contest sooner because I have no ideas but this week isn't going to happen. sigh unless some miracle happens.

I DID give up on the steampunk novella. It might have been nice to write something non-erotic for that but I already have time invested in the space pirate thing and while i know i can write 18K in one month it won't be quality. And I can't write both.

I'm somehow slightly annoyed about the 'secret projects' some of the agents/publishers have on twitter. How do you know what they are is that's all you're told and how do I know if I'm wasting my time and theirs. hmmmm

Waiting on the vet so i can go do laundry, waiting to hear if they can board frick and frack. Provided they're not dead. I woke up, looked in the living room: books torn off shelves, DVDs off the shelves, pens, papers, bills off the table. I wanted to just shut the bedroom door and hide. Idiots. They seemed SO proud of their idiot selves

And here's hoping last night's jump to over 300 in blood sugar (I had nothing but mint tea, no sugar because I felt unwell) was because of an LH surge. I think so because my sugar was normal this morning (it was that or stress). Of course that means I'll have my period all spring break. head desk

mishmash, recipes, cats, random whining

I'm worried that honorh still hasn't been heard from (that I know of). We had drifted apart in the last few years since the fandom interest waned but still, I worry.

Trying not to dwell on all the ugly crap in my life right now so have some fun things.

I started cooking some things I want to take home with me. I tried my hand at gajar ka halwa and it came out pretty good. No, I won't be eating this really. It's for a friend but I do love the stuff but the sugar content is probably deadly between carrots and fruit

Roy wanted out today. I wanted him to wait until I was done grading. I heard this metallic noise behind me. When i turned to look, Roy was on the table by the door, two paws on the door knob, turning and turning it the best he could. Damn you vile woman,I want out NOW!
