Finally went shopping
Jan. 4th, 2013 10:54 pmAs my parents live on a hilltop, we've been snowed in and missed all the after Christmas sales. I finally escaped today and far too much money was spent, especially at Costco's where in many samples were consumed (but only two purchased there after). got some bag of rice things I shouldn't eat all flavored with wasabi or soy and are so good
I did get to halfprice bookstore and blew through my entire gift card. They had the next 5 manga of a series I'm reading so I got them plus three boxes of cards for next year and now they have old PC games. I need that like I need shot but I bought one any how.
Macy's was good for a lovely glittery black jacket and silver shell but I am having the WORST time finding shells. I want just plain short-sleeved shirts or shells to go with my many dress jackets and I can't find them. I did find shells today but they were lovely in color but not fabric. They shouldn't use that clingy polyester in my size. It clung so tight it form fit over my bra well enough you could see nipple and bellybutton lower down. good god no.

sonjajade's story Something Right that she wrote for me for
fmagiftexchange's holiday edition. It's a lot of fun (and locked to the comm)
And check out my blog post about my next big thing AND now updated with 2 other author's next big things as well. click here I'd love if you stopped by. At the last blog hop, it was easy for the guest author to pick a winner since only one person did. And keep in mind I'd gladly host anyone there with project of their own they want to promo!
Have I mentioned my glasses misadventures? The other day I accidentally knocked my glasses off I still can't wear my contacts, and skinned my nose badly where they rest. Yesterday I noticed how bad the screw was in the frame so asked dad if he wanted something to do, go tighten screw. He takes them immediately. I had to cook dinner blind (he would not wait) then went downstairs and god knows what setting i put the dryer on because i couldn't get close enough to see the dials. He couldn't get the goofy assed thing fixed. Finally he did but now they're all bent looking. I'm not saying a word. I'll take them to the eye doctor when I get home.
