Are we sure this is September?

The thermometer thinks it's still July/August. Hot crap is it hot out there?

I forgot to mention yesterday that I had some sad news. The Half Price book store near my Mom's closed, no warning no nothing, got the email yesterday. I'm annoyed since they sold me a video game where someone had stolen the game out of it (okay so I lost 5$ but still). It was always busy when I was there but they said it wasn't busy enough and they're just doing the other two now on the other side of Pittsburgh. I'll have to see if the one in Columbus is still there. It will be sad if it's not. Now that I'm finally in a head space to give away my books, it was nice to get at least a little cash for them. Oh well, if not it's the library's lucky day.

As I said, I sent in my story yesterday (no acknowledgement that they got it so here's hoping) so today I turned my attention to my Cassadaga Story. (obviously things like write every day challenges DO motivate my lazy butt). Turns out I did do more than I thought during the summer. I've been carrying around 40 edited pages in my computer bag for weeks and weeks but it turns out I did ALL the edits already except for the ones in a cribbed note so literally all I have to do now is one scene where Ryan makes the decision to leave with Santino and Cam. Also it's now over 20K, go novella go.

And speaking of writing, spook_me is open for business. I'm so glad. With so much of fandom NOT on LJ any more, it's nice to see one that is. I'll be signing up! I love this challenge. I'm looking at some of you too (like you kiramaru7 with Supernatural or sholio with some Agent Carter).


And I should start listing my day's accomplishment for the write every day

day 1 - 165 day 2 - 0 Day 3 -1,192 Day 4 - 1,727 day 5 1,192 Day 6 - 300 day 7 - 1,339 So over 6K in a week. I'll take that!

I better post this now. I think a storm is incoming because my internet is dying.
