Apr. 8th, 2019 11:41 pm1. To the student researcher (who is otherwise an excellent student) who told me today when I questioned her about something on her poster for presentation 'I didn't have a control because I knew what to expect of the experiment' Nope, guess who's repeating the experiment.
2. To L. Thanks to your inability to know how talk to people I literally had to play Leonard/Penny from last week's TBBT as they tried to mend fences Sheldon kicked down (Funny thing I mentioned to dad that I felt like Leonard from that episode and he asked what did L do this time)
3. To myself, why are you so shit on deadlines? I thought the holiday deadlines were the end of June. One is June 1st, one is May 1st. Yeah I might not make that one (also that story is the plotless wonder)
harpers_child had an interesting challenge the other day I'd like to do once I have time (ha) but anyhow she included this song in her fill for my prompt and it's been haunting me ever since.
This morning I dreamt I was in my grandmother’s kitchen and she had all these bags of clothes and shoes on the table for me to go through and take what I wanted. (This was something she did often when she was alive) She sat down with me at the table and smiled and said “I really miss the good shopping.” If the afterlife doesn't have shopping, I bet she really does.
