President's Day

For some reason I have off (I'd rather have off Easter Monday that way if my students wanted to travel for the holiday they could without having to drive back on the holiday). I spent it ineffectively but I finished my exams but not a lecture which I wanted to do.

I got a late start after a bad night's rest. I don't remember the second nightmare but the first was bizarre. I was trimming calluses off my cat's ears (as if they would have them in the first place) but it ended up with me slicing off pieces of ear cartilage again and again but it wasn't bleeding even when I saw vessels. Seriously what the hell? And this on top of yesterday's nightmare where I'm trapped with this little tow-headed two year old girl staring at me laughing as try to free myself. Meanwhile I'm half awake because I know I'm dreaming and this nightmare is stupid (for one I'm male in it), I can partially see the ceiling fan but I'm still 'OMG I'm trapped in this empty meandering house.

Love Prodigal Son tonight, sad there's a MONTH hiatus. Yikes. Maybe I'll get shit done Monday nights now
