Write Every Day: Day 21

Now I'm just sitting in a bar. Probably the happiest I've been all week. It's been a weird day that ( cut for the sensitive souls )

ETA- I managed 581 words on a Prodigal SOn story I'm not even supposed to be writing.

A long day in a very long week

My morning started with me running through the halls screaming Donna I'm stealing your brains. My brains were missing from my lab so... it was a hard day though; two people making up tests, two labs, research students. Yikes.

Then came the shark thing I mentioned in the other post and I did run up to Jackson to do the laundry instead of waiting until tomorrow. I want to go to Columbus because I'm planning a day of flowers, Filipino food and gambling tomorrow. Should be fun.

However some things are getting SO expensive. THe Franklin conservatory, like the Phipps, is now 20$ to get in. I know this stuff is expensive but where does the breaking point come? Mom told me Meadowcroft which is a 1700s village with a Native American archaeologic dig attached is now FIFTY dollars a person. I just can't want it enough to pay that. We're pricing things out of the range of so many people and that is disappointing. Granted I'll toss more money into a stupid slot machine so I'm not sure what I'm bitching about.

I just hope I can park at the Filipino place. It's limited parking and it'll be a weekend. Ah well.

The stray cat my neighbor took in had her kitten. My neighbor made me pet them. Three orange tigers two grey ones. Very cute. I don't want one but very cute


The Chocolate Box reveals happened. I know I linked this but I'll do it again because it's fun. I got Garden of the Rising Sun from enemytosleep so thank you very much. I love it!!

And I wrote Complicit in Darkness which is Prodigal Son. The mods had already removed the recipient from my story because they objected to the off screen relationship which I had missed on the DNW list so I decided to remove them from the author's notes too (I doubt they'll mind) and made it a series and changed the publication date so other people can FIND it and dedicated it to my regular readers. They deserve it.
