This is Edalyn's pajama skirt. I'm trying to cosplay this.

evil_little_dog It was a light blue/purple. We agreed the color was close so I ordered it. It came as dark navy blue. Ugh. It was cheap and would cost me half the price to send it back so I kept it. I like blue for my steampunk cosplay anyhow and it was a very long skirt.
The second skirt I decided to get from Walmart so I could take it back there if I didn't like it. It looked like a light purple. Mom agreed it was closed. It came. It's frakking eggplant. It was 22$ so I might keep it too for the steampunk. I might drag it to Walmart. OMFG. Why?
However it also is a strange thing I've been seeing around this year, a fold down top. If I don't fold it down it looks like Lilith's skirt
I'm totally thinking of buying it in black. I have a black wig (or could get a new one at any Halloween shop cheap). I could always use a charcoal shirt. I wouldn't say no to being able to cosplay both Clawthorne sisters.
If you know a color close to Eda's skirt let me know (apparently not a popular color in plus sized skirts)
My friends started posting pics and things from the conference I couldn't get to this weekend. I said sorry I am sad I can't be there ...and still was ignored. So the first time wasn't a one off and now I feel pretty awful about it all. It feels like it confirms my worst fears from high school, that people tolerate me at best. (Yes I realize it's probably not true but it feels like it is)
In better news, I sent out my ghost story. Thanks by the way for your input on the title. The vote was straight up the middle. I want to get one more story out there by the end of the week
Tomorrow is the back to school faculty thing. I'm depressed by this somehow. On the other hand, they have actual faculty development stuff planned for tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing how that goes. That said I have nothing but dread waiting for me next week with the book debacles.
