I am disapppointed
Oct. 25th, 2023 10:23 pmThe fall is the most colorful in years. I can't go for hikes because if I fall I don't get my surgery. If I get sick I don't get my surgery. And this is SO disappointing. So I had to give up all the ghost stuff and all the hiking. Ah well, there's nothing to do about it but it does make me a little sad.
Adding to the anxiety is the fact I can't get mom to move off the idea she's coming here and cleaning up my house while I can't move around so well (and she will because she's done it in the past.) She's going to make me nuts.
I am desperately trying to finish my
spook_me story. Crap keeps happening in work that sucks up every moment of time.
What I Just Finished Reading:
Half Bad by Sally Green - yeah this needed to be better
A Midlife Mountain Murder by Julie Ecker (
sholio) and it's one of the better amateur sleuth mysteries I've read this year. It was fun.
What I am Currently Reading:
Noni & The God Tree: A Shattered Truth by Breshea Anglen
Demon Ex Mechina it's like a grown up buffy
What I Plan to Read Next: The Reformatory, The Widows
