Not only was today the first day back to work (that went well) we also had two job interviews to conduct (they also went well) so it was a long day and made longer by yet another sugar crash late night.

It's only been a full week since my uncle showed signs of bell's palsy from his tumor. He's coming home tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow. He's regained function so fast post operatively that insurance says he's too good to be put in a rehab hospital so he'll have home PT....boy this sounds bad. (I mean great that he's doing so well but bad that so much could go wrong without supervision) the down side is he will be on chemo pills for potentially life and has to have daily radiation for like a month. yikes.

HR still hasn't gotten back to me on my question. Sigh. Well tomorrow I have time to deal with that.

What I Just Finished Reading:
Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree - loved this cozy fantasy. I mean I shouldn't. If this was contemporary fiction it wouldn't be my thing but in a fantasy setting....

El Deafo by Cece Bell a graphic novel memoir of being a deaf child in the 70s (and a good reminder to have your kids vaxxed against meningitis

Sleeping Beauties, Vol. 2 by Stephen & Owen King answers the question of can you boil at 720 page novel into 2 graphic novels. NOPE.

Talking to My Angels by Melissa Etheridge - I'll stick with her music, this was dull

What I am Currently Reading:

Ill-Fated Fortune: A Magical Fortune Cookie Novel by Jennifer J. Chow

Have You seen My Sister (YA mystery)

Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie

What I Plan to Read Next: The Reformatory and my vast list of Popsugar prompts
