I'm thinking
Feb. 8th, 2024 10:50 pmthat my SF horror/thriller thing for Jethro Tull isn't going to work because it'll be too long but I'm trudging on. I like the story a lot but yeah it might not work out. I did just get a flash on it (Mythopoetic, Dana, in case you forget by morning)
I did my good deed for the day. I saved a frog. Student workers have told me about the frog in the greenhouse but I've never seen it. Well we gutted a lot of the greenhouse out and the water has been broken so the poor thing was sitting in a plantless but damp pot, rather emaciated. I went to get the wildlife prof and we got it in a bucket so we could keep it contained until we get an aquarium set up for it (he's the amphibian expert). So it's now in a nice leafy/watery place and one it warms up a bit, my uni has wetlands so we'll return it to the wild.
Have a couple community recs.
halfamoon is still running for all those who love writing the female characters and giving them time to shine.
And
comment_fic has revived its DW community and backed down from the daily prompts to something a bit more manageable. Come help it grow
