This is true. My parents USED to be more liberal than they are now (age does play a role because I saw that a lot in my patients) but these two really bring out the worst (though they DO treat my parents very well).

I can't always get away from them because these get togethers are the only way I can see most of my family members.

Today when it was just them I was gone. Of course that pisses off my parents but they can just deal with it.
