Playing catch up

Let's see, saw the doctor and my ear is much better (still bleeding from it though, so yeah it was nicely infected), she also said the fatty liver infiltrates are no big deal, exactly what I thought they were, just a side effect of diabetes and age. My thumb is mad abotu all the typing so it dislocated itself (when I aggravate the nerve that controls the few muscles that still work in that hand, they give up and it comes apart at the seams). And one of the injection sites is infected. So not a stellar week so far.

We're going to have a heated meeting tomorrow and I'm not thrilled about that.

My phone lines got damaged AGAIN and frontier a) wanted to wait two weeks b) told me I didn't have to be here and when I pointed out that they said this just three weeks ago and i DID need to be here back tracked and said 'oh yeah someone has to be there.' I might have to pay for all this too.

the solarpunk story is done. I need to format it and get it out of here.

In good news the a/c is fixed at work and I can go back to my own lab. Yay.


And a friend let me borrow his Season 3 Angel dvds. I really disliked this season between Saint Cordy and just how badly the whole Angel/Cordy/Groo triangle was handled not to mention just some truly boring episodes. But I wanted to see the last couple with the arrival of Connor. Because if I'm going to write something after being out of the fandom for a decade, I need to do some rewatching. I can't remember if it's canon, fanon or just some shit I imagined any more.

But the research has made me want to go to the ice hotel in Sweden even more.
