This week was a month long

cornerofmadnessIn addition to damaging my leg, I second degree burned the whole right side of my palate with a jalapeno cheese and egg burrito. I've been so busy I haven't even looked at my pictures for the steampunk ball. Tomorrow I'm going to Tsubasacon anime con in Huntington and then to the REnn Fest in Cincinnati on Sunday. Gonna be pricey. Gonna be a lot of driving. Gonna be FUN.
Unfortunately L asked me out tonight to go for wine and I said can't have to do all my cosplay prep. Now she sort of wants to go with me to the REnn fest. In theory that's okay but all I DO is shop. I don't do any of the shows other than the music. Albannach from Scotland is here this week and I LOVE them. I actually, at this point, really like going BY MYSELF. Especially since L's a vegetartian and a picky one so I bet she won't want the food at the one (new) veggie place.
Well I'm leaving EARLY (which will put her off). It's supposed to be freaking NINETY in October. I want to be there before the heat of the afternoon.
Also the torn labrum cartilage in my hip is sticking up and catching making walking very painful. Just what I need for a walking intensive weekend
I was thinking about TV. I'm not that excited for anything this year. I'm SO DAMN TIRED of reboots. That said I did watch the new Magnum. I'm already bored with the Storm Trooper effect of the hail of bullets that never hit our heroes but he hits them with one long distance shot. That said, I like the more kick ass Higgins and it does hit nicely on the diversity marks. So much like the new MacGyver (now in what third or fourth year) I'll be looking at it for the cute factor (SO SHALLOW)
I'm not the least bit excited for Doctor Who. It's not that I'm anti-woman it's fine that the Doc is a woman but I HATE Jodi. She has been a blackhole of suck in everything I've seen her in. I will say the trailers have looked good so maybe she won't suck as bad as I fear. And it's new writers so I am trying to be hopeful.
