And just in time. Tomorrow is supposed to frost. I'm so ready for that.

I got called into the principle's office so to speak. Well the whole department did. I can't talk about it

My brother and his wife came here for Bob Fest. I'm super glad I cleaned my house for the five minutes he spent in it. Sigh. That said we did have fun at the fest, sort of. it was cold so that made me happy but I'm not entirely sure why they want to come. My brother doesn't like the crafts (and really I wouldn't expect him to). My SiL didn't really look at them much either and that's all there is to do. I find it confusing.

As for me, I got more local honey than is sensible. I got bean soup cooked in a cast iron cauldron on an open fire, a little glass pumpkin for mom and a beautiful labadorite necklace for me from an older woman who was a) so proud of having made the cabachons herself and b) thrilled that finally someone liked it enough to buy it. She was literally over the moon (this is third festival where I've selected an artist's first try and watch them be so thrilled someone liked their work. It's a good feeling).
