The Apparitions of Ash Cave

My friend P is a nautralist at Ash cave and he was doing a ghost tour there tonight. If you want to know more about this you can click here
Work was quiet. All I did was sit and write while they took their bone practicums (I'll have to grade them). And hey I Nearly finished spook_me (which I hope to finish tonight)
Unfortunately I started feeling awful again tonight but I still dragged myself out of the apartment to Arch and Eddies for dinner (since I wouldn't have much time to cook). Sadly they took off the French onion soup. I got the chicken tender appetizer at the bar and a couple next to me after also locals and regulars and they were getting the bartender to experiment with drinks off a website but the wife couldn't drink them all. They kept asking ME to help them. SO here I am drinking with strangers (this is how you end up chained in someone's basement). And the weirdo who stared at me when I was there with my brother was there again! This time he didn't stare.
From there I went out to the cave. A friend was supposed to meet me there. I'm not sure she ever made it but if she did, I didn't see her (there were a lot of people there). I did meet a former and want to be again student, an adult learner who glommed onto me and never stopped talking. That was fine with me. I don't mind talking to people.
P got the group together and started on the stories. He is a natural story teller. He and his wife have been ghost hunting for a long time. She maintains the website Haunted Hocking and she's written a lot of books.
It was a fun experience walking back to the cave in the dark. He had a few cosplayers for the ghosts along the way which was fun too. he mentioned two things not on the website.
1. it's the deepest recessed cave east of the Mississipi
2. nine bodies are under the cave area (I have to ask him more about this. I didn't want to tonight because there were people from like 5 different states out there for the ghost stories and the halloween camping fest. I left them to ask questions. I can always talk to Pat).
He also proved to be an excellent owl caller but inadvertently started a territory fight between two great horned owls which was pretty amusing (to us, not the owls)
It was a very nice night. And I got to drive at night on lonely, curvy country roads. I LOVE that but know soon age will rob me of that but until then, music cranked, windows open, cold air blowing in and I just DRIVE.
