I thought I'd mix it up a little today with a writing prompt instead of inspiration. Do with that whatever you will. I have yet to sit my butt down to write so like most days I'll be back later with my own accomplishment.

I managed 401 words on a prodigal son thing inspired by last Monday + 313 words on a prodigal son story I'm doing for a friend. I have a couple more 3 sentences things written too

Today was hectic as hell, and it's not over yet (unless the 'snow event' we're expecting kicks off, in which case, I have a reasonable excuse for not driving out in it), so I only managed 310 words on the SWAT story.

Yay for some progress. I'm building a test right now and sending in $$$$$$$$ for a professional convention and then begging the Uni to help off set those $$$ so no writing yet

Last night I did my canon review, and then I spent an hour hammering out plot points with my wife in excruciating detail. So this morning I was able to backtrack and give it another go. Result: four longhand pages, bus and lunch, and I'm feeling much better about these pages than about yesterday's.

5th: Overhauled ch 4. Made notes for ch 5. Realised my overhauling hasn't fixed several different continuities. Facepalmed a bit. (Investigations are hard!)

6th: Various edits. Haven't had a chance to get working on chapter 5 yet, but maybe later.

Day 5 - went to write an alibi sentence and ended up with a 246 word flash fic.

625 new words for me yesterday. The fault-fixing edits caused more stuff wanting to be added to the first chapter which is now a first part, but I think I now need to shift around stuff to make it work better. *tears out hair* Still, I had choir rehearsal and had to clean the floors of the whole house, which didn't leave me with a lot of energy so I'm pretty satisfied with this result.
