where the firelight fades: 50K

all of one scene, most of another, and a significant part of a third are placeholders

I rearranged chapter breaks: it is now going to be nine chapters (unless I decide the last two scenes are the epilogue instead, in which case ten)

so I am not on the final chapter after all but I am about to start the scene I have been drafting and redrafting and redrafting in my head for months

went to bed at like 2a with that scene at about four hundred words, and of course it isn't going quite like any of the versions in my head

also spent an hour and a half this morning talking punctuation with some Discord people, which I want to count as writing work, and I'd be a lot happier about having had the conversation at all except between me not looking up from that conversation and

azurelunatic being sleeps, we kinda stranded

silveradept downtown for over an hour…

Day 10 - 1297 words, 6 double drabbles and some editing. I used the recent weather conditions as inspiration for a lot of what I've written the last couple of days. At least it was good for something!
