SNOW DAY

Honestly that was exactly what I needed. I personally only got a few inches and could have easily made it to work, our students come from a fifty mile radius and some of it was slammed. But that extra day off gave me time to finish so much homework for the students, get animations us, work up study guides, clean out the fridge, put away the laundry and toss the trash.

So it wasn't really much of a day off but these were all things I needed to do and was struggling to find time for so this was great.


And Prodigal Son killed it tonight. Loved the episode (except for a couple of things) so it's been a great day.

I was even able to laugh at the two royalty checks (one from a press I've not heard from in a year since I only sold one CHristmas story to a year ago, guess it sold again this past Christmas) didn't even add up to one dinner at Arch and Eddie's. Sigh.

And oh I finally got to the cherry ale from Samuel Smith's brewery in England that my brother got me for the holiday. It was an amazing pint! I need to find MORE. When I go home in the summer I'm going to this place and see if I can find some of those ciders I had in Wales. I would kill to get those again.
