If tomorrow goes like today

I'm putting in a call to my surgeon. This was god awful. The pain is getting SO much worse. I wrote my brother for ideas on how to move the leg. They made me walk twice for a combined total of 80 feet all the while saying 'we can't believe he made you weight bearing. Yeah me neither.

And then the occupational therapist grabbed my ankle to get my leg off the wheelchair leg pad and my knee hyperextended. Thankfully just a little so I don't think damage was done but I screamed and wept in my wheelchair for 6 minutes before I could do anything. Now the back of my knee is spasming and I'm having issues moving that muscle. I'm already struggling with the quads which can prevent the problem. I will ask for NESM basically electrical stim to wake the muscle back up since it no longer thinks it belongs to me

The pills are a mess. Either I'm in pain, too nauseated to eat or too sleepy to do shit. I couldn't make an exam today. I slept a lot which in some ways isn't bad. The only other thing I did was cry. I hate this.

My coworkers want me to come down there before I go home. it might have to wait until I came back for follow up. I'm touched though that they want to see me.

Sigh I had wanted to talk about Prodigal Son tonight as I have feelings and wanted to deal with them. Oh well.

Ugh, I'm sorry things are so awful for you right now, and I hope the pain levels, at the very least, improve soon. I hope there's something that can be done to help you be more comfortable. I'm keeping you in my prayers.

I'm the idiot who volunteered but honestly they would never have been able to go get my classes covered. The head of HR is like you KNOW you didn't have to. I think he's going to give me a trophy
