Writerly Ways
Jun. 6th, 2021 07:51 pmStill not much to say on the craft (as if I have had for the last few years). I'm working on the necessary evil of editing. I have three projects I'm rotating through: a long Prodigal Son story I've lost the narrative thread for, Splinters of Silver and Cold Iron (boy I regret sending that out to someone to look at for how badly I've done the Irish for Killian) and These Haunted Hills (which I want to send out this year). I'm tearing them up one chapter at a time looking for weasel and filter words. It's shocking how bad a first draft can be.
