but I have a lot of work to do on the grade books. I wish students wouldn't be SO afraid of fill in the blanks. Without them their scores on my tests would be 10% lower on the average, literally a full letter grade. They get so afraid of them, don't want them but I tell them look at your scantron score vs your hand graded score. that difference if your fill in the blanks.

And to sum up this whole week there's this

There was something I wanted to share since you all asked WTF is an electronic jump rope and I'm like good questions (your answers made me laugh) so I looked it up. My thought was it has biometrics in it. And yeah that's true but there's more than one kind. You can see them here. There were ropeless ones too not sure how that works

I tried a new tea company, David's tea but my first choice wasn't that hot. Speaking of tea, my advent teas

Day 7 - raja chai oolong, this was very nice

Day 8 arabica mocha - a mate tea, it reminded me of a dirty chai. I don't like that. Love coffee, love tea, hate them together

Day 9 white pear (this went missing from the kitchen somehow)

Day 10 Rooibos pecan turtle - for the most part I dislike rooibos but this was really tasty.

Getting an age restricted graphic for the vid; does it have a title I can search for? Problem may be fixed next week, but in the meantime; despite having a YT presence that could vote in every country in the world ~ that still has elections, some videos are too sensitive for my mutha&&&&&ing delicate self ;-)

Ugh.... Don't get me started with David's Tea. I used to be a huge fan when they first opened in my area in 2010/2011 but over the years I've started to like them less and less. I think the final straw for me came when the shut down the bulk of their physical locations and discontinued yet another one of my favourite teas. Thankfully I discovered Silk Road Tea in Victoria about 5-6 years ago and they are definitely the better tea company. They only have two shops but their online store is decent and I just find that I like their business model better. They seem to be more about providing consistent quality tea than focusing on trends and tea hardware than David's.

I will say that David's does have decent teas but I got tired of all my favourites getting discontinued. And I also think that their quality declined as they started to focus more and more on trends rather than consistently offering a quality product. I am not against a tea company rotating out blends and/or having seasonal teas. But when I saw them discontinuing a tea and then bringing out a similar tea that had things like apple as an ingredient, I just felt like they were cutting corners to charge customers the same price for a cheaper tea.
