Happy Father's Day

And a thoughtful Juneteenth. Honestly didn't do much (including my writerly ways). I made za'atar-garlic encrusted lamb chops for dinner for Dad. Also baked a cake. I don't bake. It was from the Dolly Parton cake collection (I think from Duncan Hines), coconut cake. Okay let me say this a) never seen a cake with this much butter b) this much milk BUT it's a nice mouth-feel cake. However if not for the coconut frosting I put on it it would have zero coconut taste which is disappointing.


We watched the last spiderman FINALLY. I actually really enjoyed it. I thought it was well done and I loved seeing Andrew and Toby, seriously.


Not a bad day but I need to start accomplishing things, especially with my It Came From The Trailer Park story. Feeling fairly sure I'm going to fail at finishing. I miss having people to talk over my fiction with.
