It would take ALL day to check for weasel/filter words in my story. I literally did nothing else with my trailer park story. Oh I FINISHED it last night. So tomorrow I have to do the read through edit. I will never have time to polish it like I'd like to but I'll have something to submit. I don't think it's nearly funny enough and the end might be more political than they want (I need to check because one definitely said no political stuff but I don't think it's this one) Right now it's SO hard to be funny.



Is Biden TRYING to get Republicans elected? I know that the republicans voted down an anti-price gouging measure. But more Americans than don't think the president sets the gas prices and most believe there's a gas shortage when it's really more corporate greed than anything. But with that in mind selling our gas overseas seems like a measure to piss over everyone including democrats.

And speaking of politics, holy shit what is happening in the UK? I hope nothing horrible happens from all this fall out.

And just once I wish my family would honor my request to not talk politics with me. Frankly I don't really even want to talk the politics I agree with let alone the ones I don't.

I managed to get to the gym today and then found out when I tried to get into the work email that I couldn't because they have this ridiculous 'safety' feature where all the work related software has to call/text your phone in order to let you in OR you use an authenticator app. Guess what, when it reset I got back every app but that one. So I can't get into anything. Screams.

I am glad you were able to edit your story. Hopefully you will be able to submit it as well here soon.

I hear you about family politics. That's all some members of my family seem to want to talk about no matter what. I change the subject and they somehow always bring it back to politics.
