Why do I always wait til the last minute

cornerofmadnessOther than cutting down half the frakking trees in my garden (and managing to catch the poison ivy just above the gardening gloves because why not) all I did was work on the online portion of class. AND
1. forgetting there was a new edition of the books so have to get help from McGraw-Hill to set up a section unless I want to do it from scratch (no)
2. forgetting that we talked about rearranging the syllabus and teaching different stuff this fall. And in spite of having meetings about this with multiple department heads we ALL forgot it so no harm no foul
3. overlooking we're supposed to have a school meeting on thursday in addition to the day long one on friday. shoot me.
I also forgot I had a zoom workshop tonight. At least I made it. It was good except for the fact the power went out for no known reason and it took a while to get my internet back
And I got brave enough to use the shower vs the shower seat. It was hard getting in and out but I lived.
Also saw something important to me on Facebook. I DO need to get to the Mothman festival early AF because they still want you to park in Krodel park a mile plus from downtown with NO shuttle service this time. Yeah not happening. I'll go early and hang in the coffee shop.

Date: 2022-08-17 02:27 pm (UTC)2019 we DID have a shuttle and it didn't work out right (it did the year before) they were picking up randos in the parking lot instead of coming to the line and getting us. I got my parking fee back and left that year.
so either they didn't want to run the shuttle or maybe it cost too much to do. We live in the middle of nowhere so I have a feeling the shuttle people come from the bigger cities an hour or more away
