cornerofmadnessI'm shocked the campus didn't burn to the ground. Well it felt like it was in my building as the a/c is broken. It's SO hot and humid in there mold is growing on everything (they treated it over the weekend).
My office is in that building and one of my classes. The other two are in the adjoining building (that has a/c thank god). NONE of my classes are where they're supposed to be. I have two where is Doc Dana now signs on my door. Neither agree where my classes are, nor does it match online.
I eventually rounded up students for me and OTHER profs because everyone's room assignments are messed up. A lot of no-shows for the classes (or maybe they're just lost too)
We don't have zoom on the computers because we're supposed to use teams. Well no one else does. I had a zoom meeting with a book publisher about the online portion of the class, couldn't get in. Whee. They called me and turns out they couldn't help me but did know where to send me for the help.
It's been over 2 years since I've stood this long (before my injury) and last year I had one less class so I was not ready for today. My knee is so swollen the scar is standing up like a zipper. It hurts a lot.
I hope we're getting the bad stuff out of the way in one day and it gets better.
