I think I'm set

cornerofmadnessI made it home, packed, learned it was going to rain all weekend because of course it is. This is the first Labor Day weekend I am NOT staying in years (I usually end up in the Huntington Mall going WHY did I do this again?). I would have bought a ticket for the Wilds tomorrow since it's meant to be sunny.
Only they insist on a 3 day in advance ticket purchase. WTF? Why isn't that in bold on the home page? The Wilds, some of you may have seen on the Animal Planet's the zoo. It's a safari like extension of the Columbus Zoo. So I could only get Sunday. WHen it's meant to Storm. Who wants to bet I spent a lot of money to see no animals and sit in a crowded open air safari bus?!?
So I snagged one of the last 3 tickets on the sternwheeler tomorrow (at 1130 so my ass needs to get up out of here early enough) and I have no pride. I saw 55+ discount and jumped on it. Save me that dollar. I also booked the ghost walk which starts at my hotel and will go IN my hotel. Have I mentioned I'm staying in a haunted hotel?
I will probably be exhausted after that and I plan to jam another museum in there (the Castle) and on monday when it's REALLY supposed to rain I'll do the other museums before heading home. (this is about 100 miles from me give or take)
Today I was in my office between lab and I'm there in my Maleficent scrubs when the president of the university walks by and doubles back. "I want to talk to you about what you said in the faculty meeting about this building." He wanted to see all the leaking roof tiles and other damage so I showed him around and told him about the lack of handicapped accessibility and then invited him to our labs to see what we do. At least he didn't say hey big mouth, you're fired.
Also for those who didn't see (like me so thanks to the more keen eyed friends) DW might have connectivity issues because they're dumping their content provider after some very sketchy ethical things. I don't mind them trashing a company apologizing to child abusers for banning them though I'm supposed to take over WED in a few days so that might be tricky.
And one of my ovarian cysts popped sometime last night/this morning, borking my blood sugar and putting me in a lot of pain
