Write Every Day - Day Eleven

cornerofmadnessToday was a good writing day (mostly because my sprained ankle and hurt hand slowed me down and kept me in front of the screen). I edited two chapters of the novel, wrote about 700 words on a horror short and finished a chapter in my big bang.
I’ve been watching Neil Gaiman a lot on Twitter lately and have always enjoyed his works so I thought I’d share some of his advice on writing from time to time here.

“Everything is driven by characters wanting different things, and by those different things colliding. Every moment that one character wants something, and another character wants something mutually exclusive, and they collide—every time that happens, you have a story.”
