I did end up back at the Apple festival. I went up to exercise and go get groceries. I know today would be nutso but shockingly I found a spot not far from the vendor hall. I ducked back in to see if I could get another of those scarf things but she sold out (good for her). Went I get back to the car I find out why it was so easy. There was a paper sign I didn't see when I parked (in my defense it looked just like those sketchy job ads you see all over the place) NO PARKING on Saturday. Apparently there are two parades?!? I'm lucky I was quick so I didn't get towed.

As for the groceries, I decided that I would like to investigate my cultural cuisine. I'm tied to the Abruzzo region so I wanted to try cooking something from there, something new once a week. Well....there is a bit of a problem, apparently my ancestors were bit of isolationists so there isn't too much online. Also they're hugely into lamb/goat which is not easy to find here and like shoving three meats into everything. Um...no. Dudes eat a veggie. I found one recipe last night didn't copy it and now can't find it again. I did find a fresh pasta recipe that I do plan to try.

Congrats on finishing your story! That's awesome

It is always so difficult to find parking at festivals. At least you were able to get out of there in time.
