My body hates me and I hate it

If I have a joint there it hurt. My arms are numb before I was holding heavy stuff for too long because I'm dumb.

But there is fun news today. I bought some clearance stuff from svaha a clothing site dedicated for fun STEAM related clothing for women and girls. All the dresses have pockets. Woot!

Of course it's dicey getting stuff from a company you've never bought from before and honestly I was hesitant because you can't send things back on clearance. And it was almost an issue. I got a shirt with mythical creatures on it (unicorns, dragons griffins, phoenixes and more) and it fit as it should. I bought the glow in the dark neuron dress one size too large because they didn't have my size. And I can take a dress in but I can't let it out usually. Glad I did because this was NOT true to size. It fits but just barely. My actual size would have been too small. That said it's cute.

I think I'll go ahead and order from the James Webb collection (because I need more clothes like I need shot)


Did I mention I finished my gothic ghost story yesterday? I need to get it edited.

I love Svaha's stuff, but they're not true to size, they do run small.

Which is really asinine if you think about it. They have a sizing chart which IS true to size but then.... I will be ordering one size larger AND probably making a comment about it in their reviews. (Also I need to look at if it is handmade in India. Much like holy clothing, if it's handmade there it is always a size too small)

That's good to know about holyclothing, which I have never ordered from, but have heard generally decent things about. Are they generally a pocket-having kind of shop too or no?

I have a tank dress from Svaha that I love, but it's just a touch tight to wear out because it's more true-to-size than other dresses too, which I didn't expect, so if you find a dress style that works for you, remember that.

Holy clothing is hit and miss on pockets. three very important things to know with them 1) clothing is VERY renn/wiccan so not all of it is every day wear 2) the colors will bleed out so wash on cold and most importantly 3) they take for fucking forever to ship from India so you have all the waiting on customs nonsense and if it's a special color you may see it the year you ordered it in...no lie bought a tunic in a special color in March. It arrived in august.

Good to know about Svaha. Honestly the dress is NOT my style (too short. I have horrible knees even before the injury) but I couldn't resist glow in the dark neurons
