Good luck! I'm not joining this round as I currently can't have any additional pressure (and as much as I enjoyed the last round, I didn't manage to not feel pressured by it *sigh*), but I plan to keep being more dililgent about reviewing than previously.

That's a very good and useful reason for the bingo! It worked quite differently for me; for at least half of the prompts I had to go and search fic - which of course I enjoyed, and likely also wouldn't have either read and/or commented on otherwise, but at the same time read instead of those I would otherwise have by friends or my usual authors/in my usual fandom, so didn't (yet, I hope I'll manage sometime soon) leave feedback on as I simply didn't manage (*) ). I totally get the fairness issue, too. I feel the same and try always to check out people's fic, particularly those who write reviews to me and those I meet through WED, but particularly for the latter I mostly don't find either fandoms I know or genres I like to/will read. I try sometimes to read fandom blind but that rarely works for me, as I'm also not very well-read or rather well-watched with a lot of movies and TV shows or even genres.
Like in your case, for example: I don't know your current fandom at all or what you're usually mentioning (altough I do have to check out your Star Trek fic, I didn't realise you're writing that), and although I mostly also check your recs I rarely find something I know and would like to read, mostly for character reasons. ;op But I also realise my fannish reading preferences aren't typical for most fandoms and fandom people, if typical enough in my main fandom (Tolkienverse): I prefer longfic (including REALLY long fic) and love worldbuilding but am not interested in anything explicit or too relationship-focused, and my preferred eras within the Tolkienverse aren't mainstream either. XD For what it's worth my AO3 handle is the same, but I don't expect you to find anything there you might be interested in. (Just for the record: I don't expect any of my flist to read anything by me, at that!)

(*) I find it strangely hard to give feedback to stories I enjoyed a lot/really love. 95% of what I'm reading I read offline/on my e-reader, so couldn't write feedback right away - but even when reading online I wouldn't except if it's just a quick one that I liked it or so. I don't really know why this is but I usually can't leave feedback right after reading, but need a bit of time to digest what I read, and also be awake enough to write it which isn't the case when I'm reading - also because I'm reading to unwind but writing feedback gets me wound up again. ;op Due to this I managed to get myself into a bad habit of planning detailed reviews which never got written, and I'm in the process of changing that. The Comment bingo helped with some of this but also hindered it as I neglected those outstanding reviews to manage the bingo ones. Of course, my annoying brain also decided I need to to a blackout which hasn't helped. /o\
But I'm now trying to set review challenges for myself, and have also improved insofar that I try to leave a shorter comment at first even if I want to leave a more thorough one, with the intention of adding another one later (which happens more and more often).
