It's been an awful week

I could use your good thoughts/prayer etc because even more bad crap could happen next week I'd appreciate it. Thanks. I'll also accept cute animal pics, songs and other distractions. I could use that too.
The funny part of it is
kerk_hiraeth sent me a funny FB reel that honestly would have been running thru my head in today's meeting. It's a tad NSFW so if you want to see it, I'll DM it, just ask.
I did get a few stories written for me this week.
Mettle League of Legends
In the Defense of Dani Prodigal Son/Buffyverse AU
Also in a bit of good news. Rocket's wounds seem to be healing well.
It is snowing. I am glad.

Date: 2024-02-19 03:32 pm (UTC)When I was a child I had a Labrador Retriever who watched us sledding on those plastic sleds and she took over one. She'd ride it to the bottom, take it by the pull rope, go back up the hill and do it again and again

Here are a few YT-Links for you:
Street Music from the XIII to XVI century
I don't know if you're familiar with/ already following The Welsh Viking, but if not, it's a great channel about reserach-based but often also nerdy Viking-related subjects. Even for somebody not into Vikings I think some of his vids are interesting. Some are also about Wales which might be your thing.
Speaking of channels, another favourite of mine is Simple Living Alaska, a couple living off-grid and doing vegetable gardening, keeping chickens and bees (yes, that's right) and also doing a lot of fishing, previously in the South of Alaska. Now they've moved further to the north and are experiencing their first winter in a much harsher climate. Their vids are always entertaining as they're a fun and cute couple, and there are also often beautifly nature shots and drone flights and interesting recipes or meal descriptions.
And finally some cat vids for a laugh.

I'll give the Alaskan couple a look, thanks for the suggestion.
