The slow trickle of ancient LJ replies spread all through out my inbox so it's like an easter egg hunt to find them all. Sigh.

I had the weirdest dream last night. I can't remember it all but I thought I heard the phone ringing and got up and it was my grandmother was calling early in the morning to be sure I wouldn't be out. But she was in the same 'house' as me so why use the phone. the house was a huge wooden structure with hundreds of us living in it and I had been in a coma for 20 years (and yet I hadn't aged, in fact I was younger) Grandma had been doing my make up for me while I was 'asleep' (which would make granny about 110 at this point) It was very Vogue/Cosmo looking model make up with that velvety gloss you can't get from store brand stuff. One eye was painted deep green and the other pale green and done Cleopatra cat like...

I don't remember too much else other than it was a little bit of a hedonistic society in my 'house' We went outside and I was tethered by a long blue and white ribbon to this young man who was very happy to have me since it was the first time we'd partnered together and it was time to see if we worked well or not (apparently you get no coma recovery time) We started running because he was going to fly me like a kite. It was like a scene from a Magrite painting, all these people flying in a cotton candy pink cloud sky (thanks ELD for that reading of yours that had to have inspired that part) and we were training to be spies for some war. They were going to float us over enemy lines.

And things get muddled from there...

I don't know why you can't remember them. A lot of people can't. Mine...they tend to stick with me but I forgot some of this. I woke up knowing I had lost parts of it. But not that whacked make up job (thanks for painting me as the whore of babylon Grams)
