So i went to see the specialist today. About years ago I had a root canal and crown put on a tooth I had cracked. Honestly the cracked tooth wasn't a problem then but I knew it would become one...only the treatment made a minor problem into a major one. The root canal failed most likely because there's an accessory nerve that's microscopic and was missed and as far as I was concerned the crown is ill fitting and way too big.

This dentist agreed the crown does suck (which means i'll probably have to replace it. Basically he wants to retreat the tooth which is what I wanted. Either it'll leave me pain free...or not. It's hard to tell until he gets in there with the microscope.

So...my spring break when from Las Vegas Here I Come...to okay so back to Florida to...great a freaking root canal.

My teeth are evil. I lucked out pretty well as far as health goes, but not on the teeth.

Right now I have this cracked tooth that's getting more painful that the dentist insists there's nothing wrong with, after taking about a zillion x-rays of it. Great.

Owie! Been down a similar road. :-S Hate to hear that. I hope that you will be pain free soon! As for me, I get to have my cervix burnt to a crisp on my spring break. Yeah, life is such a treat sometimes. Hopefully we will both be pain free! :-) You deserve a break. If nothing else, enjoy the pain pills and try to read and relax. I'll be rooting for you. (No pun intended. Sorry. I just do that type of thing.)

I feel your pain with the tooth troubles. I have (two?) impacted wisdom teeth and at least one tooth in need of a serious root canal, but I can't get any of it taken care of yet due to lack of funds. Hurting teeth suck.
