Spike/Dru – pre-series - Snack Time
Standing well away from where the swatch of light would hit him, Spike opened the front door of the house he and Drusilla had recently made their own. Thank goodness people still fell for the, ‘My car broke down, can I come in and use your phone to call for a tow truck.’ Spike peered around the edge of the door carefully. To his surprise two young girls stood there. “Wanna buy Girlscout cookies, Mister?”
An easy snatch and drag inside later, he and Dru were well sated. Spike rubbed his belly. “Veal and tagalongs, the perfect mix.”
“Uh-uh, thin-mints.”

“I can’t believe you can think like that Andrew,” Xander groaned.
“But it’s true,” he protested.
“I can’t believe you two are still having this ridiculous conversation,” Dawn said, bumping up the sound on Alton Brown’s Good Eats.
“What’s all the bellowing about?” Buffy asked, coming into the room.
“Trying to talk sense into Andrew,” Xander said. “There was only about three cool things in Return of the Jedi and the Imperial Scout Speederbikes were one of them.”
“No way, the Ewoks were the coolest,” Andrew insisted.
Buffy took Dawn’s arm. “Let’s get out of here before this infects us.”
Connor – in Quor-Toth - Ready or Not
Steven wiped the gore from his blade on a wide, flat leaf. At least the kills had gone smoothly and quietly. The eight year old hadn’t expected that many advanced scouts outside of the demon enclosure. Eight or eighty, it didn’t matter; he had to get inside. They had Father and it was up to him to rescue Holtz.
Steven slipped through the shadows like slukhs through water. His heart hammered inside his chest. The boy didn’t know if he was ready for something this daring but ready or not, he was Father’s only hope. Summoning up his courage, he charged.
