Fandom whining

somehow my computer has completed deleted a few of the Saiyuki sound tracks and I'm irritated. The one I wanted was the Gaiden one, the drama cd with Goku meeting Nataku for the first time. sigh. I don't remember the name of the file to do a search (but i KNOW it was in 'my music' and now it's not) gah.

and as i set up the recorder for Deathnote and Blood Plus today, I realized a) that I had accidently recorded over like three weeks worth of material. Bah. And of course it would be the whole history of Saya/Diva/Hagi. However I did see silvrethorn we were right, Hagi IS meant to be the dourest stud ever to be bred. Can't you just see those pretty scowling children...

And while I know Riku is now a chevalier is it necessary to dress him like a mini Hagi? I mean doesn't the boy have enough problems already? Trapped in a child's body forever, no parents, big brother is a bit of a jerk and now he has to dress up like a Victorian undertaker?

and is it wrong to be sickly amused by the mothers hiring a hit man to take out the BK King (frankly I'm with the mothers, he's creepy)

I agree. Take out the BK King. Quickly. He's nearly as scary as that giant moon-headed thing that McD had for an intro to their "late night" hours.

Yay to dressing like a Victorian Undertaker! (Speaking of which, we saw the coolest documentary on grave robbing yesterday. It talked about medical schools et al and, naturally, I thought of you.)

P.s. I enjoy those ladies trying to kill the Bigheaded BK King too (he's far too creepy to be a mascot...)

Wow, you're really behind aren't you? My tapes never seem to work for those shows either. I hope you can read spanish. When I try to catch up online for erased episodes, that's all I can find in Blood+. (Spanish subs and Japanese audio, my brain was like," You traitor!") If you think they're unfair to Rikku now...

I feel the same way about Death Note, but some part of me keeps wanting to watch it. I'm obsessed with Blood+, but my love for it went down a notch after last weeks ep. I didn't get to watch my tape yet for last night. :(

I've never warmed to saya at all. So I'm meh on Blood + as for Death Note, the characters aren't that likeable and the manga is overly talky. I think i might like the anime more

yeah, with Death Note I see the main character as the antagonist, which kinda turns me off. I don't care for Saya either, but I loved her brothers and now they've just screwed me. *still hasn't watched this weeks's ep* At least both anime have pretty animation...

I don't know how far you are in Blood+ so I won't say anything about Riku.

And I'm with you on the BK King thing. That guy is majorly creepy. I remember the commercial where they had the guy wake up and turn over in bed, only to be face to face with the King. I think they could've come up with a better mascot than that. Though my mom and I find the recent commercials funny....and that sandwich thing does look good....

OMG that first run of commericials with the King in bed freaked me out majorly. I've yet to find someone who likes the King i wonder how many videos games they got stuck with since i can't see a kid wanting one

And I think that's why the King is creepy, that first set of commercials. The damn guy appearing out of nowhere with those sandwiches. Open the blinds and he's there....Adjust the rear view mirror and he's sitting in the backseat....The King has psycho stalker written all over him.

I think I'm watching Blood+ at this point just to see how the hell they're going to motivate Haji to mate with anything, never mind Saya. That relationship was going nowhere even before Saya sent him off the cliff and changed him from a prig into a mope. And no, when you reach it, there's not an episode missing before this last one. There's just a huge, irrational jump and everybody's suddenly physically changed. Or maybe CN really did lose an episode. Honestly, I've lost count.

And am I the only one having trouble with the fact that L the master detective in Death Note is an impossibly handsome 25-year-old? Wouldn't someone that omniscient and powerful bear more of a resemblance to Yoda than to a bishie boy?

no, that was ALWAYS one of my problems with Deathnote. Light and L are actually the same age roughly. When you get to Mello and Near they're even younger! It's like um...
