Honest, I'm pretty sure Italians perfected their version of this centuries ago and it's hard wired into our genes. I've had to use it often today on: 1) Whiney students 2) ill prepared students 3) my neighbors jumpy dog 4) Sanzo Kitty 5) Roy the Cat 6) idiots at Wal-Mart, 7) idiots at Krogers 8) the people who have to paw thru EVERY turkey there is. .

To the students - if you study, it will come. If you don't, all the whining in the world won't sway me. And oh, for the HALF of you who didn't know the Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader question (which planet is closest to the sun) go stand in the corner.

To Queenie's owner - Tony's letter about NOT letting your dog run around by itself applies to you too

Sanzo Kitty - I was getting your food as fast as humanly possible. Coming INTO my apartment to yell at me more doesn't impress me

Roy - You are not special. You get what the other cats get. Live with it.

Wal-mart Idiots - it's Wal-Mart, it's the holidays, it will be crowded. Deal

Kroger Idiots - they're all the same, Krogers has them in bins by weight PICK ONE

Speaking of which I had one frozen turkey breast then spotted the FRESH one (just one) in the other bin. I ran over one old lady and two small children to grab it, saw it was two dollars more for about a half pound less weight, nearly put it back. Then thought 'well frozen ones ARE injected with broth' i set them side by side...the fresh one was at least a third bigger. damn that's a lot of weight by broth!

I have Black Friday planned out. evil_little_dog can nap a little after dinner on Thursday. We can hit Wal-Mart around 2-3 AM. It's an hour drive to Chillicothe so we can be there for Kohl's 4 AM opening. Then breakfast and another hour drive to North Columbus will put us in the malls for opening. We'll be set.

OMG, you actually do Black Friday? I would rather swim the Ohio on New Year's Eve naked than go near a mall the day after Thanksgiving or the day after Christmas. *shudder*

I bought the fresh turkey today just so I wouldn't have to worry about the damned thing thawing on time. We're entertaining Uncle Fester again this year. I'm so thrilled. Frankly I'd rather be trolling Kohl's with you and ELD at 4AM than watching Uncle Fester snore in front of the TV, and you know how I loathe crowds. If I have to do something I dislike, I'd rather do it in congenial company.
