Writing stuff and weird dreams
Nov. 30th, 2007 05:26 pmFirst, while I don't remember all the dream I do remember the part where I cut out my own spleen because I thought something was wrong with it. Oddly, this didn't hurt a bit (not to mention I cut into the side with my liver, right over the area that's hurting me right now so I figure this has something to do with this dream) My spleen looked like a Rambutan and when I started cutting it apart there were all these tumors in it.
You know brain, some days I really have to wonder about you. This wasn't a scary dream other than I was mad that I couldn't make the pathologist look at those tumors and tell me what they were.
and the writing stuff well here it is

But oddly i don't feel good about it this year. I mean yes I did write all those words and it's not that they're bad words but my decision to try to write the ending of the three other novels wasn't a good one. It felt fractured and really there wasn't more than 15,000 going to any one novel so not much got done.
And because the website was so slow to load, I didn't hang out in the forums as much as I have in the past so I did feel isolated. Not to mention that seriously some of the people posting in the fantasy parts of the forum were just...let's say they reminded me of students.
oh well. Still, nearly 58,000 words in a month, that's something and I am happy with that.

Date: 2007-11-30 11:18 pm (UTC)In mine hubby got a huge gash in his calf and we could not get anyone to help. Then when we finally did the doctor's solution was amputation instead of stitches. We had to argue to get him to cut it below the knee. And of course when it was cut off it did not bleed. Then I had to tell the family and when I looked at him he already had a fake leg.

Date: 2007-12-01 06:17 pm (UTC)On Nano... ^_^ Maybe next year you should post a paragraph synopsis of each project you're weighing and the rest of us will do a poll to assign your project for Nano. ^__^ That way you'll feel more rewarded. But really 58,000 words is nothing to sneer at. It's more than 2000 words a day.
