I should have known today would blow. I think my brain listened to lunatic_0 a little too well last night when he was talking about intense dreams. Woke up abou 530AM in the grips of one. What I remember now is I was with mom and my brother and we were teens again. We were at a festival but instead of a lot of open area and big buildings they were in hedge mazes and labrythine buildings. I remember one to my friends were there in a jingle dress to dance in a pow wow. Mom was embarrassing me by snapping pictures without asking first (something frowned on at pow wows).

I wandered off and found my friends mom strangled to death. Then the killer was after me and I was running all over. I don't remember what else happened. I dont WANT to. I was so shaken I couldn't find my way out of my bedroom and had to read for a while to relax.

Then i went to put on my brand new pants. Only have worn them twice. They have decorative snaps...and one got lost when I was home apparently. Called mom to make her go look. it IS fixable but not without going to Joann Fabrics. Well I was wearing them damn it. I had laid it out last night (not noticing hte button naturally) and it worked. Silver-grey pants, silver dress sandals, deep blue silk shirt, blue toenails. Figuring the shirt covered the waist band I just used my kilt pin to hold the snap's area.

Get to work, do the grade book, forget to hit save before navigating away. GAH. Get to class, show them my website and it's GONE. Just my picture is left. three years of links, pictures, labs etc GONE! I call up IT, beg them to tell me what's wrong but naturaly they're gone to lunch. I teach some, getting madder and madder then made it an early day since obviously no one was listening anyhow. I did two review chapters in two hours. Enough is enough.

Go to the office. Find someone waiting, they decided teaching math isn't for them (they're a junior) and want to be a pharmacist can I help. Let me get my miracle wand, shall we? I mean it. I'm buying a wand and hanging it on the wall with the words, if you want a miracle i'm hitting you with this. Luckily she does realize she just tacked on an extra year in all likelihood. Takes an hour and a half to get her on a new path.

Call IT. He says they're moving the faculty web pages. Where I don't know. Why did they wait for the first two days of school? Oh I have theories. He pauses. "do you think i should have emailed the faculty to tell them this.' Well duh. You do that. It'll give me time to get my gun. What no gun in the office? I have a plastic spoon and keys. I bet I could turn them into a killing weapon. My webpage better be back.

But there IS good news. I got two letters from medical schools thanking me for teaching two young ladies who got in. I wish them luck.

I still want a Silver or a Gold, myself; otherwise I'm content. I have to name my newest white healer, and my last water dragon still hasn't gotten old enough to tell what gender he/she is.

Sounds like school days suck so far! Condolences! (And on the clothing snafus - that's what always sucks about getting dressed at the gym. One time I finished my workout and put on my shirt only to discover something had been washed with it that put nasty contrasting stains all over one sleeve - I had to go home and change...)

Every time I breed 'em I end up with more of the same sorts of dragons. I hung around at the top of the hour but couldn't get the pretty glowing one. They were all pinks and greens. I ended up accidentally abandoning an orange one and keeping a black one (and of course, now I can't get the freakin' code).

Good luck with the gold and silver! Let me know when you're gonna breed 'em and maybe I can grab one you need to abandon!

yeah it's kinda sad that yo only get the genes you put into your breeding but that's life. I'll try to do it at night some day (my silver is off the table. He bred with my white one but it only had white eggs)

Random off-topic(ish) question, I've noticed that most seem to do this, but do ALL schools in the States start in August? That always seems so weird to me, and yet we still finish around the same time, if not earlier than you. Does it have to do with the amount of hours/week that comprise a full work load?

I don't know. we all do start in August and it depends on the college some are on quaters others like me on semesters. here classes run typically from 8-4 five days a weeks and your classes areusually 1 hour blocks MWF or long blocks TTH
