Came to work early to put in test grades (and didn't FORGET the tests like I did friday). they waxed the floor or something between the two buildings (connected by a skywalk). I put one foot into the doorway and it was like ice. I went straight down to my knees and somehow my left knee and right wrist took the brunt. I tried to get up and fell again. it was that slippery (and i have shoes with treads)

My left knee is huge and barely bendable. My right wrist is the one that's already nerve damaged so i'm not sure how much it's damaged. not swollen so maybe not so bad. Might have to go to urgent care. bah.

You should definitely go to have it looked at, and definitely claim workers compensation for the injury. And the school frankly should be held liable for your pain and suffering not to mention probably humiliation that resulted in over waxing the floor and causing a potentially very serious accident.

the school was pretty inistant i go. (if nothing else here we're like a family).

They don't think anything is broken but cracks can take 2 weeks to appear on x-ray
