I'm now within 7K of my goal. Go me. Placid will not shut up. Go him. They are making me change some of my beginning but that's okay. They are having none of the gas light stuff. THey want to be in the electrical age entirely. that's easy stuff to correct at least. At least we're done out in the country. It's back to the big city and more murders....

I got this from [livejournal.com profile] mustangsally78

The Internet proudly presents: The Find Sherlock Holmes game!!

1) Go to Wikipedia.
2) Click Random Article (on the left navigation bar)
3) From there, only using links in articles, navigate yourself to Holmes's page
4) Post your path here.

Wow totally surprised that Doyle was so far down the list.

Scottish literature

"A Scottish intellectual tradition, going back at least to the philosopher David Hume can be seen reflected in the Sherlock Holmes books of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: although Holmes is now seen as part of quintessential London, the spirit of deduction in these books is arguably more Scottish than English."
