1) A piece of wood is NOT an acceptible substitute for a back window. there were three of you today and all three of you nearly jumped my lane probably becuase you couldnt see me. Use plasstic (CLEAR) not wood

2) if you are hauling crap in your dump truck make sure it is IN the freaking bed and not smeared on the lip so that gravel is falling everywhere

3) it's called a turn signal, use it.

4) For you in Athens, what shade of green were you waiting for at EACH light? it's not getting greener if you just sit there and stare at it.

Dear People Driving in WV

This state has hills. BIG ones. that's the joy of driving there. The speed limit is often 70 mph on the interstate and never under 65 mph. If this frightens you get the hell into the damn slow lane. this is what it's for. Get out of my way. I am capable of driving the speed limit without fear. In fact it is GREAT fun to free roll down those hills just to see how fast you can go and whip up the next hill and see how far you can get before you need to hit the gas.


Yes I'm home and cranky as ever.

Yeah, I'd say that sums up my issues with each state's drivers. God, you are lucky you weren't driving in WV during a light snowfall, you know, the kind that does nothing to the roads. "OH GOD THE SKY IS FALLING, WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN! I MUST DRIVE AT 15 MPH AND YET ALLOW NO PASSING!"

For God's sake people, the stuff falls here every year, you don't have to act so damn surprised and frightened!

Having returned to Indiana semi-recently after living most of my life in Florida, I've been driving in snow/ice for four years now, and I have the feeling I'm better at it than some of the folks who have been doing it since they were sixteen.

Of course, it amazes me that neither people in Florida nor Indiana have a clue how to drive in a raging thunderstorm. "Four inches of water? You can still DRIVE. Just go steady and don't slam on the brakes!"

Sorry the drive was so annoying. #3 is one of my biggest driving pet peeves too. I'm constantly yelling at other cars that turn signals aren't for them, it's to let other drivers know what the f*** you're doing.
