well I think I've made a decision on a couch. Found one I liked at Big Sandy Superstores (yes it should be Sandy's but keep in mind where I live). Debating on it now. More than that couch I wanted this enormous Canopy bed. I could keep a man tied to that no problems.

I ended up not going into the Adena Mansion simply because I felt bad for all the plants I just purchased (and as mansions go, it wasn't that impressive unless you remember just HOW old it really is) but it's not that far away so I'll go back.

I did however make out like a bandit at the heirloom plant sale. I picked up a Black Hollyhock, something called a cypress vine with little red flowers on it that looks to be a tenacious climber, a flat of nicotiana that I can’t wait until they bloom (night bloomers), something called a Job’s Tear, an heirloom of about 4000 years of cultivation that makes little grey seeds with holes in them that have been used as beaded decoration for about that long, a mimosa pudica (a ‘sensitive plant) that I’ve been wanting for a long time, it folds up when you touch it (the poor thing hated the car ride, it’s all folded up) and I got some black tomatoes (doubling my tomato plant count....where I think I’m putting them I’m not sure) Tula’s from the Urkaine. And all for under 23$. Now, to get things to plant them in. That’ll run me triple what I paid for the plants.

I was hoping to go to a bookstore while I was up in Chillicothe so I hit the yellow pages. I couldn't help but laugh when ALL they had were either christian book stores and adult ones (and I know which I'd rather shop in)

ELD has cypress vine. I have cypress vine--all over the yard, growing rampant through things it shouldn't be climbing on. Did you know it comes in pink and white as well as red? We have the stuff everywhere because our neighbor planted all three colors of it on the fence between our properties. Only the red survived, but the mixed colors were very pretty when they bloomed together.

I found a tomato called Black Russian in a catalog. The text describes them as "dark mahogany-brown." Reckon they're related to your Tulas?

they had a ton of white ones and one lonely red one that I had to yank free. I have it now.

They're probably the same thing those black Russians
